Hey everyone thanks so much for coming down to the show at The Mint.

Unfortunately Jeff was home sick so I belted out a few renditions of “I Can’t Promise Anything” , “Blue Heron” and “So Lonely”.

As you can see on our Facebook page I also pulled out some Hall & Oates “Man Eater” love!

Big thanks to The Mint, Brent Harvey, Jason the sound man, MC for the pics/vids  and to everyone who came down to support!

I heard you all singing the “Man Eater” chorus along with me out there…made my night

EARTH AT NIGHT  is playing a special stripped down acoustic show!

Hello friends how goes it with all of you?

Things over here have been a little nutty but we are looking forward to a productive 2012!

We have been writing a whole bunch of new songs and  we’re working on getting them recorded this year

In other news, Jeff and I have been working out acoustic versions of the songs.

We are planning on playing a few shows so you can hear the songs bare bones!

Lots of singing and harmony so like a dwarf at a urinal we’re going to have to be on our toes.

Don’t fret though we are looking forward to plugging in and turning it up ASAP. \m/

Thank you all for coming out and supporting us at The Good Hurt on the 16th we had a blast playing for you!

We should be getting the photos from the show up here soon so keep and eye out.

The owner and booking agent were stoked and they want to band back ASAP.

We think it helps that they ran out of four different types of beers and vodka…Damn our friends can drink

Here’s what we have been up too…

In February of 2010 EARTH AT NIGHT released “Throwing Fire”. This album was as many great records are a labor of love, sacrifice and perseverance. It was tracked at Pulse Studios and Werewolf Heart Studios in Los Angeles. Engineered by Marcus Samperio and mixed by Ryan Williams (Deftones, STP, Limp Bizkit). EAN then worked with Liz Cousins and Notorious Radio to do a specialty radio campaign in 2010 with great results! The band has since played Red Gorilla Festival at SXSW 2010, played The House of Blues in Los Angeles and headlined at The El Rey Theatre in 2011. This album has also been a favorite on internet radio, Jango radio and several terrestrial radio stations since it’s release. “Throwing Fire” was then licensed to Mtv, Vh1 and E! Networks with the help of Tinderbox Music. Having songs featured on “The Real World New Orleans” “Road Rules” and “Married to Rock” on VH1, EARTH AT NIGHT was getting great exposure on TV and radio. In April of 2011 the band got a call from Tinderbox Music that Fox sports, ESPN and NFL Football wanted to license “Throwing Fire” for their networks! Now at the end of 2011, EARTH AT NIGHT is writing another record, has just signed a deal with Discovery Networks to license “Throwing Fire” for their new shows premiering in 2012 and is working on gettting on the road in the spring of 2012!
