EARTH AT NIGHT the Los Angeles based Hard Rock/Metal band has been described as “A five piece rock band that happens to be a trio”. Singer/Guitarist David J. Moriarty met Drummer Dave Ferrara through a mutual tour manager in 2007. “The feeling was immediate I remember” David J describes “Like we knew we would be making music together”. Then about two months later after several bass players had auditioned,  David J was introduced to Bassist Jeff Edeker at a movie studio where they both worked. “We had that same feeling upon meeting” says David J, ” so I gave him a rough demo of songs Dave and I were working on”. Jeff came down the next week with all his gear and parts written… EARTH AT NIGHT was born. Flash forward to the present with 2012 upon us,  EAN has released 2007′s “Anger Is The New Happiness” EP and  2010′s “Throwing Fire” album. The band has done college radio, internet radio, Jango radio and other terrestrial radio campaigns for both records building a steadily growing legion of fans from all over the world!  In 2011 EAN  licensed “Throwing Fire” to  several major T.V. Networks such as Discovery Network, Fox Sports, MTv, VH1 and E! Networks to name a few. EAN’s music evokes deep emotional reactions from listeners, pissing them off, pumping them up and making them contemplate life’s harshly brilliant moments. Currently the band is in the studio writing new songs for a record to be tracked in the new year. EAN will be touring in 2012. There is more to come.
